Video Directors BRTHR Create a Psychedelic Signature for Charlie XCX and The Weeknd

Artist Decoded is a weekly podcast series created by emerging creative director and photographer Yoshino.

In this episode Yoshino interviews BRTHR (pronounced 'brother'), a young director duo known for their euphoric, speed ramped music videos and creative content.

I've been a fan ever since I came across their work on Ben Khan's "Youth." Most notably they collaborated with The Weeknd for his "In The Night" video. Check out the full episode below to hear more on their process and influences, from Wong Kar-wai's Fallen Angels to Ferris Beuller's Day Off.

Tokyo born Alex Lee, and New York native Kyle Wightman became quick friends while attending The School of Visual Arts in NYC, and went on to launch BRTHR in the fall of 2012.
